Power Play

Hydro One is offering a sports fund designed to support capital projects in regions where Hydro One is the energy supplier.  This grant will help to subsidize the cost of capital expenses.  This is a Provincial level grant.

Sport and Recreation Grant

The Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation is offering grants to First Nations youth to provide support for sport and recreation.  This grant facilitates active, healthy lifestyles amongst the First Nations.  This is a Provincial level grant.

Community Health Fund

The Ontario Ministry of Health would like to support a variety of programs designed to prevent illness and disease. This fund is designed to target provincial level programs that support the province as a whole in respect to prevention of chronic illness and health initiatives. This is a Provincial level grant.

Community Capital Fund

 The McGuinty Government is implementing a new Capital Community Fund in an effort to support infrastructure development of not-for-profit organizations that service diverse cultural communities.  This Fund, administered by the Trillium Foundation, will be invested in projects that help revitalize community-based infrastructure. This is a Provincial level grant.

ACF Grants Program

The Atkinson Foundation offers grants to support projects involving research, innovation, and evaluaton of children's services. ACF Grants help improve the futures of youth and children at risk. This is a Provincial level grant.

Sport Commission In the Community




On November 19th, the Niagara Sport Commission and the Niagara Falls Red Raiders were honoured as the Host of the Year by Ontario Basketball at their annual Awards Gala held at the Holiday Inn Yorkdale in Toronto. The NSC is proud to accept this award and will be striving grow our success as we host the Under 12 and Under 17 Ontario Cup Championships in 2012 and 2013.
