Economic Development Committees

Games Bidding and Hosting Committee

Develop strategies to attract major games, prepare bids for major games, liaise with local governments to prepare bids.Organize major sporting events, liaise with local governments, advise/consult events hosted by local sport clubs as necessary.

Sport Tourism Marketing Committee

Media relations, liaise with tourism industry, develop sport tourism packages, NSC Brand management, destination marketing for sport tourism.

Sponsorship Committee

Develop Corporate Partner program, create athlete and family membership program, create merchandise & licensing program, develop charitable gifts program, website & newsletter advertising, community sport event registration fees.

Community Development Committees

Community Relations Committee

Liaise with sport organizations & athletes, develop volunteer recruitment strategy, assist with membership program, liaise with school boards, daycares, and Early Years Centres.

Advocacy, Equity & Access Committee

Promote sport participation, liaise with charitable foundations for sport, host community sport events, liaise with Parks & Recreation departments, YMCAs and services clubs.
